IUY – Families Belong Together – Demonstration Thursday June 14

There are times when core values, not only of America, but of moral belief must be defended.
This is one of those times.
Hundreds (probably thousands) of children are being taken from their parents at the U.S.- Mexico border. Separated
and incarcerated sometimes thousands of miles away and in ‘cage’ facilities, prisons, and military bases.
Some of them were with parents illegally crossing the border, but many – if not most – were parents who came to
the border legally seeking asylum (“Give us your poor, your tired, your huddled masses yearning to be free…”)
Indivisible Upper Yellowstone, Montana Women For and other groups are organizing a local demonstration:
                                                             Families Belong Together
Thursday June 14, 5 PM to 6 PM (officially, or 4:30 PM to catch more rush hour)
Along the sidewalks of Depot Park on Park Street (not in the park, which is private property).
