IUY – Regular Meeting, Monday December 11

Regular meeting of Indivisible Upper Yellowstone – Monday December 11, 6PM MSU Extension Classroom, 119 South 3rd St. Livingston
This is a ‘regular’ monthly meeting, but the times are anything but regular. As the chaos in congress paces the presidential tweets, we’ve had more demonstrations and calls for action on such a wide variety of issues (tax bill, net neutrality, attack on public lands, sexual harassment, and more) than ever.
We – with our toe-hold on the political scene in Montana – have stood up and marched (Bozeman on the tax bill, on Net Neutrality). We’ve done something that has perked interest in the community – running a series of ads in the Enterprise to educate the public about the tax bill.We want extend that activity. To do that we need to sift through the many issues and our options to make our opinions known.
Participating in this meeting is not only a good way to catch up on the fast developing issues, it really does help us find ways of being effective.
